The Hidden reasons why we do, what we do: Motives Part 3.

The Hidden reasons why we do, what we do: Motives 3
Motive is a very powerful emotion that   God wants us to be aware of   and He wants us to get it right in our walk with him, when he tests our hearts or probes our minds.
Jeremiah 11:20 but you, Lord Almighty, who judge righteously and test the heart and mind,
let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have committed my cause.
Psalms 7:9   bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure—
you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts.
God is interested in the conditions of our hearts   , why we are doing whatever we are doing for him, for ourselves and for others.  Sometimes He even allows us to go through tests and trials just to test, prune and purify us. In all these temptations, trials and tests, God never allows us to go through more than we can bear. O what a Faithful God that we have.
1 Corinthians 10:13  No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
The devil is the one interested in accusing us and urging us to stay away from God whenever   we fall short, God however wants us to always run to Him and renewing our minds from the clutters of life daily through our spending time in The Word of God .During our time of fellowship with God, we   renew our minds, also evaluate our motives on why we are doing what we are doing for God and others. It is very good   to judge ourselves with The Word of God so that we would not be judged by God for evil deeds or wrong motives. The Word of God is the best judge for our motives; it sees the intents of our hearts and purposes.
Hebrews 4:12 for the word of God are alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Holy Spirit also speak to us daily through our inner witness about us,  when we  listen to the voice of the Spirit this  also  helps in  aligning  our motives in the right directions.
Proverbs 20:27 the spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart .
As we dare to believe God to do great things for us and through us this month of June, He will show Himself strong on our behalf and we will march into our victories and successes in Jesus name. Amen. Just Believe in Him and in your abilities.
Have a Glorious   Month of June.
