Matthew’s calling:

John the Baptist calling:

The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah the Son of God as it is
written in Isaiah the prophet: “I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’ And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus’s calling his Disciples:

Calling of the twelve disciples;
Luke 9:1-3 When Jesus
had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out

them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He
told them: “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no
bag, no bread, no money, and no extra shirt.
Calling of the seventy:
Luke 10:1-2 After this the Lord
appointed seventy others and sent them
two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. 2
He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the
Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
Calling of Apostle Paul:
Acts 9:3 -6 as he neared Damascus
on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the
ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? “Who
are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.
“Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
Calling of Cornelius:
Acts 10; 3-7 One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision.
He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!
Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel
answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial
offering before God. Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who
is called Peter. He is
staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea. “When the angel who
spoke to him had gone, Cornelius called two of his servants and a devout
soldier who was one of his attendants. He told them everything that had
happened and sent them to Joppa.
