THE HIDDEN REASONS;WHY WE DO , WHAT WE DO 1

Blessings to you all for the next few weeks, I will be posting nuggets on The Hidden reasons why we do, what we do: "Motives" what the Word of God says about this great emotion.  We do what we do for various reasons that maybe known to us but hidden to others; some rich parents want their children marrying from a rich family, a man that professed to hate Jesus now goes to a church, a woman or man wants to marry someone living abroad , rich or famous, a business woman or man joins a charitable organization, a gentle man/lady gives a lady/gentleman a ride to work seven days a week, a young adult signs up to join The Army and we all are interacting on social media. These are some examples on what we do with or without a hidden agenda. It has been observed that anything done with an ulterior motive, once the motive is not been achieved, chaos sets in.
Motives can be pure, impure, good, evil, true or false. God is not bothered about what we do but He is more interested and more concerned in our heart conditions and in why we do what we do. God searches, examines our hearts and eventually He exposes the motives of the hearts and the hidden things.
While I was preparing these nuggets I was tremendously blessed and I pray that everyone else that reads through will also be blessed. Enjoy my Nuggets on Motives and have a great week!!!

NUGGETS ON MOTIVES 1

Motive is the reason for doing something especially one that is hidden or not obvious.

Motive is an emotion, desire, physiological need, or similar impulse that acts as an incitement to action.
2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Proverbs 16:2
all of a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord.

Proverbs 21:2   every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.

1 Cor 4:5
therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise.

Philippians 1:17
those others do not have pure motives as they preach about Christ. They preach with selfish ambition, not sincerely, intending to make my chains more painful to me

Philippians 1:18
But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, from God.

1 Thessalonians 2:3
for the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you.

1 Thessalonians 2:4
for we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

These show that motives can be pure, impure, true or false. God is not bothered about what we do but He is more interested and more concerned in our heart conditions and in why we do what we do. God searches, examines our hearts , weighs our motives and eventually He exposes the motives of the hearts and the hidden things.
