Illuminating The Darkness Around us and Getting Positive Results using God's Words.

One of the things we crave in our lives   as human beings is getting positive results. Any time we do we feel good with ourselves and anytime we don’t we feel bad and sometimes beat ourselves up .Beating ourselves up will not make us get the results we deserve so we need to adopt better techniques and changing our strategies.

        One of the tools that God has provided to provide answers and illumination to the                   darkness around us is in using God’s wisdom .In this blog, am going to share with you            some powerful truths of how we can get positive results and shine the light in every dark       area of our lives. God is light and He operates in light, whereas the devil likes operating          in darkness. My prayer is for everyone that reads these nuggets to receive the                          revelation they need to move in the light this New Year.

Rom 1:17, Gal 3:11, Heb10:38, Hab 2:4: These four scriptures tell us that as believers we are supposed to be living; by Faith. The Word of God is the source of Faith. This is our manual for solving all our problems and it tells us the way to live as a Christian. The Holy Bible provides us with the standard guidance on how to live. It is our responsibility to open it, read, meditate on the scriptures, pray for your eyes to be enlightened to the Truth in the Word and then obey what it says.

Whenever we obey we reap the results of obedience, whenever we disobey we incur the wrath of disobedience. Deut 28.

God is a God of Love, he also provided us with free will to make our choices. The

Holy Spirit never forces us to do things; it is the devil that operates like that.

As much as God wants us to make wise decisions in every area of our lives, the onus is still on us to make the choice.

 These are some of the benefits of spending time in the Word:

1. You no longer walk in darkness in any area of your life. God will reveal you to you. Things will no longer be like an accident cause His words will show you revelations concerning your home, your life issues and business. Psalms 112:4, John 12:46, 1 John 1:5, Psalms 18:28.

2. You will be able to thwart the fiery darts of the devil with your Sword of The Spirit. Ephesians 6:13

3. You will prosper in your finances, because you know what The Word says about money and you are applying what you know. Joshua 1:8

4. You will be able to walk in divine health because of your revelation of healing power in the Word of God even if sickness wants to appear in your body physically, you can tap in to the spiritual for your healing. Exodus 15; 23

5. You will never walk in lack another day of your life, because you have read, meditated and obeyed the principle of giving and receiving.

 Luke 6:38 NLT Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in

Full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and

poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.

6. The Word of God provides wisdom for every area of our life; the ability to know what to do when you don’t know what to do. There’s also provision to ask for wisdom if you lack it.

James 1:5 .The Word of God will reveal to you the Love of God and you would be able to walk in love as God is Love. I John 2:9-11

7. You will know that you are an Ambassador of Heaven which is our final home, we are temporary resident of earth and will begin to operate as Ambassadors do.2 Cor 5:20

8. It makes you have a deeper relationship and understanding of God the Father, Son and The Holy Spirit. I John

9. You will not be an ignorant believer and the Spirit of excellence will operate in you and in all other areas of your home, family and business.Hosea4:6Eph4:18, Rom 12:1-2, Acts3:17.

The Word of God and The Spirit of God brings illumination
Psalm 18:28 You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.'
Psalm 19:8 the precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

 Psalm 27:1 Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?

 Psalm 112:4 even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.

 Psalm 119:105 your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path

 Psalm 119:130 the unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

 John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

 John 12:46 I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

I John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

Light is the agent or force that stimulates sight and makes things visible in the physical sense. In the spiritual sense Light is Truth, Light is Jesus, and light is God, all the good and what the goodness of God has provided to us when we gave our life to Jesus Christ through salvation. Darkness and the god of this world is what prevent unbelievers from believing the Word of God and getting saved.

2 Corinthians 4:4.  The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

As believers, God does not want us to walk around in darkness in any area of our life. The Word of God when we take time to read it and The Spirit of God which indwells us daily is there to provide illumination to us in every dark areas of our lives. Light is what reveals the works of the devil, evil agents in our lives once  it brings us illumination we get wisdom, knowledge and deliverance from the powers of the devil. Light gives us wisdom for living this life which we are supposed to live by faith. 

Romans 1:17 : For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

 Habakkuk 2:4: “Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith.

After receiving the Light of God and getting saved, God wants us to constantly make a conscious effort to remain in Him and in His light. We do this by spending quality time in his manual The Holy Bible which is our source of faith and source of light.

2 Corinthians 5:20:Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf be reconciled with God.

  8. It makes you have a deeper relationship with God the Father, Son and The Holy Spirit, you will be in constant light and the darkness will not be able to comprehend your light.

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

 9 .You will not be an ignorant believer and the Spirit of excellence will operate in you.

Daniel 8:32;

May God enlighten us, remove and expose every darkness and dark areas of our homes, lives and businesses and may we begin to operate as True Ambassadors of Christ in all we do in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

THE VOICE OF GOD

THE VOICE OF GOD, THE VOICE OF THE PROPHET AND THE VOICE OF MAN

The days we live in, it is crucial to recognize the Voice of God the Holy Spirit and to obey

What He   is telling us promptly without disobeying. There are so many voices out there and so many people trying to tell us what to do, when to do it and how to do it.
Once we become   born again, filled with The Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues: God expects us to be in tune with his voice : be attentive to him because He wants to lead us, and for us to be ready and quick to obey his leading.
We are His Sheep and He is our Shepherd. John 10:1-14,  Psalms 23; 1-end. As a sheep listens for the voice of their shepherd, we ought to listen for the voice of Jesus; which is the voice of God.
 He hears our own voice and he listens to us. Psalms 5:3.He doesn't want us to harden our hearts. Psalms 95:8.Most times He’s trying to speak to us about us on a daily basis via the still small voice but we tend to very busy and not attentive. This can be very costly most especially when He’s trying to warn us about an impending danger and we missed his voice.
I have  many personal testimonies of myself and others whereby The Holy Spirit diverted our   steps from danger just by our heeding to his voice. Sometimes, I have also missed it through my own carelessness but God has been and is still so faithful .
I will to share the following with regards to prophecies and prophesying;

There’s the need to test all spirits and all prophecies. I John 4:1-6, 1 Thessalonians 5:20-22.Long Time ago, I was personally  exposed to an encounter with a false prophet, while visiting at a  friend’s church, the ‘prophet ‘    at that   time had prophesied to an already married man with children in the congregation  that I was his wife to be. He thought the man was single. I was   shocked and   amazed by the prophecy and the ‘married’ man in question was on fire and furious. All hell broke loose on me because of this false prophecy; it was only the Grace of God that delivered me. It is so saddening  whenever  I see how  false prophets toy with people’s destinies, manipulate, deceive and even sometimes destroy people’s lives with ‘Thus says The Lord’ when God has not spoken . 

These are the following pointers based on The Word of God that I would like to give concerning prophecies and the voice of God.

Do not go about seeking prophecies or miracles. As a Spirit filled believer, God has promised not to withhold any good thing from us. Psalms 84:11 He also wants us to know hidden secrets in the spiritual which we can connect to when we are also in the Spirit. Deuteronomy 29:29
 We become spiritual from our studying, understanding , revelation from the Word of God, walking in obedience  and by our staying long enough in His presence through  fellow-shipping, worshiping and praying in tongues .We cultivate a love relationship with The Holy Spirit by developing this  routine  consistently  and wanting more to please Him rather than quenching  or offending  Him. I Thessalonians 5:19 We need to treat Him as a friend and a person rather than an ‘it’. Treat him like you would treat your physical lover. You would constantly receive miracles when you live a life of obedience to God the Word and God the Holy Spirit. Every time we obey one step, we get rewarded with the next instruction to do. God sometimes walk with us precept upon precept. Isaiah 28; 10-13

The voice of God is powerful and is everywhere if only we pay more attention within. Psalms 29:1-9

He has assigned his angels to hear us and carry out the instructions we give them using His Word. Psalms 103;20.Angels are meant to go on assignment for us when we release and invoke God’s word which is alive and potent.
Are you saying the right words and are you effectively using your ministering angels? If no, now is a good time to start using this free ministry that God has made available to us.

When true prophecies are given, they are meant to comfort, edify, and strengthen believers. I Corinthians 14 :3. Every spirit filled and yielded   believer can be used to operate in any of the ways to be a blessing to one another but only the ones that God has placed in   the   office of   a prophet or prophetess are those   that can give prophecies like foretelling ahead   future declaration of what God will do, pass judgments with request for repentance, give directions or warnings and pronounces blessings. I Corinthians 14; 28, Ephesians 4:11. Acts 15; 32

As we seek prophecy, we should seek love .I Corinthians 13:31.We are reminded in the Word to speak the truth in love .Ephesians 4:15

God still  speaks through His  true prophets and through his  servants. Amos 3; 7.When a true prophet speaks, it comes to pass and the prediction is true. Jeremiah 28:9.When a false one speaks, it does not come to pass or whatever he says does not happen and we are not supposed to be afraid of them. Deuteronomy 18; 22 .This is a test to know when God has not spoken.

The devil can also speak in tongues and can perform miracles after all he used to be an anointed fallen cherub. Ezekiel 28; 14. The way God uses true prophets, the devil also uses false ones. It’s only a matter of what spirit we subject and submit ourselves to.

False prophets and those who seek their signs will be punished. Ezekiel 14; 10. They talk when God has not spoken, give false visions and speak lies. They operate as lying prophets to deceive. 1 Kings 13 their mission is to deceive and seduce.
Mark 13 :22 False prophets and false Christ will arise and these are some of the signs of the end of this age. Matt 24; 24.They shall perform great signs and wonders so much that even the elect can be deceived. That’s why it is critical to train ourselves to knowing the Word of God and the voice of God for ourselves.

God has equipped the Spirit filled believer with all we need if we stay at where we are supposed to be in the spirit that’s our local Bible teaching church with the 5 fold ministry to minister to us and when we develop ourselves to grow, discover and stay within our calling; we will also able to operate in our own gifts. Ephesians 4; 11-14. The 5 fold gifts are the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and the teachers. As believers that yield to The Holy Spirit,we can flow in the  revelation  gifts of the Spirit which are  Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge  and prophesying to one another from time to time. Ephesians 5:19,I Corinthians 14:26-40. Romans 12:1-11.

Individually, we   need to hunger and thirst for more of God and His Holy Spirit. The Bible says we have the mind of Christ. When we you stay long enough in the Word of God and worshiping of God, we eventually cultivate the habit of knowing when God is leading us through the promptings. We observe and notice the victories we have encountered just by obedience or mishaps we had to go through because of lack of obedience. These are the ways to train your spirit man by the reasoning of use. Then you will not be seduced, deceived, manipulated or confused. Hebrews 5:14 The Holy Spirit that resides in us is our teacher, willing to teach all things that are true. 1 John 2:27.The onus is on us to strive more for a spirit filled life than a life of the flesh. No one can please God in the flesh. Romans 8; 8. Being spirit filled is not being spooky ,it is knowing The Word Of God, hearing the voice of God, doing it and being able to discern times and seasons. This is the will of God for believers, anytime we are outside of his will; there is that tendency for us to be deceived. Deception creeps in when we are seduced by the voice of man or the voice of flesh (devil)The devil is always waging war against the spiritual. Romans 8. Be in the spirit and you would not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Gal 5:16-17.When we walk in the spirit, we would be walking in love with our brethren, love is a fruit of the Spirit. Gal 5:22.When we are, we will not be giving false deceptive or seductive prophecies for God is love. God is a spirit; He loves and is seeking those who would worship him in spirit and in truth John 4:24. Worshipers are in real loving relationship with God. If you develop a strong habit of worship, you would get closer and closer to God and the things of the spirit; therefore, you would not be easily deceived. The same way some people allow themselves to be used by the devil to do bad and evil things, God so much more wants us to be willing to be used of him so we can be a blessing to one another. God does not want us running from pillar to post seeking prophecies or miracles; he desires a one on one relationship with all that would yield to him.

Prophecies, miracles and tongues will run out, be destroyed or cease to be but love endures forever. 1 Corinthians 13:8
