The same way we had to make a choice to accept The Lord
as a Savior, we have to accept God’s righteousness by faith. We should seek his
righteousness and thirst for more of it so that we can be filled. As a believer
we live by faith everything we will receive from God is also by faith. Our righteousness
is a gift from God and once we receive the gift and that revelation we will not
be bothered by the devil when we fall short or find ourselves living below our
expectations of ourselves. When we fall short, all we need do is repent and get
back on track in faith not stay down in pity party or withdrawing from God. We
did not do anything to qualify to be righteous, our qualifier is God and once
we accept him in our lives, he gives us in return a right standing with Him: ‘Righteousness’.
