on Vision ".
God speaks he is still
speaking and still gives true visions to individuals despite all the
counterfeits that we may see around. The physical manifestations of the visions
he gives to us is the proof that God has spoken whereas in the case of
false visions, they never come to pass and the false prophets also suffer the
consequence/judgment for lying against God and for speaking when
God has not spoken. Whatever
God has spoken through any of the means; dreams, prophetic visions,
discernment, imagination or perception or whatever he shows us will surely come
to pass at the fulfillment of time if we do our own part and walk in faith
instead of doubts or fear. Visions will not come to pass if we
stay stagnant or are not ready to do what it takes by faith and believing in
ourselves and in God that gave us the vision .It is sad to say that some tombs
are filled with some people that died without fulfilling their vision, not
because God has not spoken but maybe because
they chose not to believe or act upon the vision.
For it is impossible for God
to lie, before he gives us a vision, he had already made provision for it to
happen once we believe and are ready to go to work with the vision. When we
discuss the vision with him, He makes it clearer to us and we have better
understanding from time to time about what it is that He wants us to do and how
to do it. This process takes time, commitment and lots of patience and trust in
God and in his timing.
Hebrews6:17-18Thus God,
determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of
His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18 that
by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to
lie, we might have strong consolation, who has fled for refuge to lay hold
of the hope set before us.
Daniel 1:17 to
these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of
literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and
dreams of all kinds.
Daniel 2:28but
there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King
Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions
that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these:
Vision is God showing us the
picture of where He wants us to be in the future or what he wants to accomplish
through us in the future or at an appointed time.
